AMI IYÖK ECOSMETICS
The Ecosmetics line was the first Ami Iyök line endorsed by laboratories with more than 20 years of experience. We are audited every year by external international entities Natrue and EcoControl. All our certified formulas of the Ecosmetics line are free of GMO, petroleum derivatives and any active that has not been extracted under a process that respects the properties of raw materials. Most of our ingredients are 100% of natural origin and from organic cultivation monitored by EcoControl BDIH and NATRUE. Our main challenge when we started the brand in 2012, was to achieve pleasant textures and aromas in addition to the challenge of formulating with natural preservatives and stabilising and preserving the formulas at an acceptable optimal skin 5-5.5pH. We achieved this by combining the best quality natural actives with cutting-edge biotechnological advancements.
AMI IYÖK SKINWARRIORS
As a result of the high demand from customers with sensitive skin, we at Ami Iyök launched the Microbiota Skinwarriors line, which was our debut in the world of Microbiome-friendly treatment ampoules. Skin Warriors is the most advanced line of organic cosmeceuticals, based on the science of the microbiome. Alterations in the skin barrier due to hormonal changes, immune factors, aggressive medical treatments or even stress, modify the composition of the skin's microbiome, and this is linked to the health of the skin and the presence or aggravation of skin diseases and conditions such as acne, rosacea, allergies, eczema, or premature aging of the skin. Each product in the line focuses on a specific target depending on the skin condition (rosacea, melasma, hyperpigmentation ...), but the entire line pursues a single common goal: to create a barrier that is biocompatible with the skin and protects the existing microflora, isolating it from external agents.
BIOTECHNOLOGICAL AND NATURAL COSMETIC R&D
With cutting-edge effectiveness and combining natural ingredients and technological assets, Ami Iyök brings formulas that protect against cellular stress by slowing down the signs of skin aging. We design natural cosmetic formulas, supported by efficacy tests. We were pioneers in the Slow Aging philosophy: look after your skin with certified organic cosmetics and good lifestyle habits and you will have younger and radiant looking skin for longer. At Ami iyök we do not echo miracles, promote integrative cosmetology in order to prevent premature aging and delay the signs of aging with healthy lifestyle habits and the good use of cosmetics as early as possible. We tirelessly search for natural, unique ingredients to achieve unique and effective formulas. These assets include precious vegetable oils, extracts and resins that come from the depths of the Amazon rainforest, among others, as well as technological assets with proven efficacy tests. We have also developed our own patents such as Kombunectar® a high-performance natural cosmetic active for the skin.
NATURAL COSMETICS AND ECO-SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
We at Ami Iyök believe sustainability is a 360° commitment, and that is why we present our products in eco-friendly packaging made of poplar wood from plantations controlled with FSC certificates. Our recyclable violet glass containers also prolong the conservation of the unique formulas. We strongly believe our carefully developed formulas deserve containers that are equally as especial and equally as sustainable, that why we fuse avant-garde eco-friendly design with the best ingredients. Our commitment goes beyond cosmetics, however. Our commitment extends to the environment and the planet. For this reason, we develop natural cosmetics minimising our carbon footprint with local production, without palm oil and taking care of every stage to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible during the manufacturing and fulfilment processes. NATURAL COSMETICS CRUELTY FREE
The Natrue certification endorses our brand's values and commitment to the planet. None of the final products or their ingredients have been tested on animals either inside or outside the European Union. We have gone as far as to reject exporting our products to all those countries where tests on animals are essential requirements in cosmetics for health records. The entire Ami Iyök team are unstoppable activists for animal rights and we certainly oppose any procedure that involves any animal suffering.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Ami Iyök cares for your skin and the environment but also for all living beings on the planet. Through our blogs and social networks, you can follow our campaigns and actions with different organisations, but chiefly with the NGO Care Highway International, whose projects across the globe meet the schooling, food and health needs of many families and children. We have also supported the fight against animal experimentation and defended animal rights. Biopiracy, unethical manufacturing and fair trade are issues we are highly aware of. For this reason, we carefully choose our suppliers, ensuring that their trading methods are free of injustices towards their workers or ethnic minorities.
